Experience

Art and Emotion

I always wanted to be an artist. My whole life I tried. I skirted around the perimeters of a creative life by being in advertising, by being a teacher, and by teaching art. All are creative in their own way but when I wanted to push the kids out of the way and grab those brushes I knew I was in trouble! Ha ha!!

So now I try myself. It's hard and so rewarding. I love it. And now I love teaching it too. Take a look at my art. If it speaks to you, you can buy it. If not at least I hope it makes you smile. I work to preserve hope, innocence and happiness by making something fresh and colorful.

Qualifications

I'm a member of the Art Queens, a graduate of Amira Rahim's class in acrylic painting, and part of the Art Business Upgrade and 10K painting school. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in studio art. I've taken classes throughout at local colleges such as MassArt and NorthShore Atelier. I constantly work to improve my skills as a painter, and I'm an excellent communicator and former project manager who takes your commissions with the greatest seriousness. I want you to love your art!
