Art Inspired by Emotion and Memory
Tina Rawson is a contemporary artist based in Newburyport, Massachusetts, expressing gratitude and memories through vibrant acrylics, swirling patterns, and bold colors that capture fleeting moments and deep emotions. She lived in Sweden and brings that European design sensibility, and a love of travel to her art. She was told to be practical so she got her degree in education but took the bold step during COVID to step out and make art on her own. Life is too short not to be brave.
A Journey Through Color
I paint love. I try to the world through rose-colored glasses because I think that when we do we feel more grateful and happy for the time that we have on this beautiful earth. Why fly to the moon when we live on the most beautiful planet? I know that life is hard, we work hard, and as women we carry a lot but I hope that my art brings you some joy and allows you to linger and reflect on the beauty of life's moments through my unique artistic lens. Whether its a house, a pet, a person, a special place or a bowl of fruit - I put my love and well wishes into it for you.

Artistic Journey
As a contemporary artist, I express emotions through vibrant acrylics, capturing fleeting moments and memories that resonate deeply with love, loss, and gratitude. I started by taking classes with Amira Rahim during COVD-19 and quickly fell in love with acrylic paints, they are so colorful and can be used like oil paints or watercolors depending on the media that you use. I also tried oil paints but found that the smell gave me a headache, and that I could achieve a lush buttery look with my Golden acrylics, add resin, scratch into them, add gold foil, and layer them. It's an on-going journey of discovery which I love.
