About Me
I paint to see things closely and watch carefully and understand how nature gives us roots, and allows us to grow. I learned as a child sitting under a tree in Little Compton that the shade, the sun, and the flowers changed what I saw and how I felt - and I saw a world connected by colors, kindness and beauty. I left the States as a teenager and found that beauty in Sweden as well. I studied art in Lund, traveled extensively, then continued to study art in college.
Her work is collected internationally, and since 2012 she has participated in 82 solo and group exhibitions across Boston’s North Shore, Philadelphia, and abroad, including a museum exhibition. Her work has also received awards. After earning a degree in education and spending years in marketing, Tina took a bold leap during Covid to pursue her lifelong love of painting, studying with Amira Rahim, Samantha Kaplan, and Lully Schwartz at North Shore Atelier.
Tina is drawn to the feeling a place leaves behind—the colors, textures, memories, and quiet details that stay with us long after we’ve left. She hopes her paintings bring that feeling into your home: something that catches your eye, evokes a memory, and continues to reveal itself over time. A painting that begins with a place and a feeling can eventually become part of someone else’s story.

Location Info
Based in Newburyport, Massachusetts, near the beach and the mountains Tina travels to Sweden annually and she will be hosting an art retreat there. Please get on the email list if Swedish folk art classes and retreat interest you too! Tack.
